Carter Roberts - The sustainability imperative
Here is the audio link to the keynote address by Carter Roberts to the Food Industry Sustainability Summit in Minneapolis on June 16. Roberts is president and chief executive officer of the World Wildlife Fund and made a case for the imperative of sustainability.

I think Mr. Roberts' comments urging companies to increase efficiency ring true to many business leaders.
However, I fear he loses people with his doomsday comments.
“If we continue to indulge our appetites, and we continue to purse a model of production that is inefficient, we face a century when we will see catastrophic and destructive forces we have not seen before," he said.
Well, maybe so, but up to that point you had people jumping on the bandwagon of increasing efficiency and building sustainability.
