Perchlorate data a non-starter

Press coverage of the FDA's release of perchlorate data doesn't seem to indicate big public concern about the by-product of rocket fuel that is found in trace amounts in U.S. food. However, the Natural Resources Defense Council does argue the perchlorate exposure standard is set too high and should be reduced.

Let's hope the next round of elections gives the Dems the majority in the Senate so the EPA can get back on it's feet from the devastating cuts and hostility from this administration. It took the lead in this issue.
