Reaction regarding Coke v. Pepsi in produce
From over on the Fresh Produce Industry Discussion Group, one of the members writes this on the topic of Pepsi v. Coke in produce:
That's a time tested marketing approach: Apple vs. IBM, Vegan vs Meat Eater, Good vs. Evil, Water vs Soda, Organic vs Conventional? whoops!
As you point out, other industries can project a coherent message so it is likely the produce industry could also come to an agreement in terms of promotional details. Yet, imagine what it would be like if gvt policy conformed a bit more along the lines of the Food Guide Pyramid and the impartial public health message it's supposed to promote.
