Home improvement if we are lucky

Speaking of Fresh & Easy's "pausing for breath" in their expansion in the Western U.S., I find myself at the midpoint of a home improvement task on Sunday afternoon. I'm putting up new fluorescent fixtures and lights in the kitchen at a painfully slow pace. I wanted to say that I will update some of the news links and Fresh Produce Industry Group Discussion topics later in the day. I also look forward to uploading some audio files from my Russia trip. Also, next week I plan to have a Google Chat with Packer Markets Editor Andy Nelson.

On the way to Home Depot for the light fixtures, I ran into an ex-Packer reporter, Boyd Shearon. Boyd had his three growing kids in tow and seemed to be doing great, working now for a veterinary publication.
