FRUIT LOGISTICA 2012

Online tools optimise trade fair preparation

Virtual Market Place® for appointment scheduling – Interactive site plan now available

Berlin, 13 December 2011 – More than 2,400 exhibitors from 80 countries and over 56,000 high-profile trade visitors from 130 nations are expected in Berlin for FRUIT LOGISTICA 2012 (8-10 Feb.), the world's leading fresh produce industry event. Exhibition organiser Messe Berlin offers event visitors a variety of online tools to optimise their trade fair preparation.

The FRUIT LOGISTICA Virtual Market Place at www.fruitlogistica.com / Exhibitor Search features a targeted user interface with a broad range of functions and a variety of search options. For example, visitors can select a specific region, such as "Mediterranean Countries", or segment, "Machinery", to see a list of exhibitors. It also includes comprehensive company and product information of FRESHCONEX exhibitors.

The Virtual Market Place offers trade fair visitors advance information about exhibitors and their products, with almost all FRUIT LOGISTICA exhibitors already listed on the website. Visitors can choose the information they want to include in an individualised trade fair planner tool, which can be used to set up an exhibition itinerary and print out site plans and hall maps. An interactive site plan is also available, showing which exhibitors are present in the respective halls. Importantly, the web platform can be used to schedule appointments with exhibitors prior to the trade event. Contact forms are available for quick and easy contact with exhibitors.

FRUIT LOGISTICA 2012 takes place from 8 to 10 February at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds along with FRESHCONEX 2012, the international trade fair for fresh produce convenience.
