One of the highlights of the tour to Honduras was a visit to Zamaorano University. Founded in 1942, the school is a hands-on learning experience for students from all across Latin America. Some photos here also by Rich Keller.

One of the more impressive stops on the Honduras agribusiness tour this week was a visit to the Inversiones Mejia S. de R.L. in the Comayagua Valley. Company president Omar Hernandez led the group of journalists around the packing facility, which exports about 40 containers of oriental vegetables per week to the U.S. I'll develop a story for The Packer about some aspects of the visit; the company is a leader in food safety and food security measures in Latin America.
